Tell us about yourself...
My name is Brock Hamilton. As of Nov. 10, 2023, I am 14 years old and enrolled in Parker Junior High in 8th grade. However, I have been recruited by Brother Rice, St. Rita, St. Laurence, and Marion Catholic High Schools. I will attend Homewood-Flossmoor High School in the fall of 2024. I am 6’3 and 205lbs and love baseball. I play first and third base, I pitch with high velocity, and I can also play the outfield. I have been playing baseball since I was six years old. One of my many goals is to get drafted into the MLB just as my cousin Dillon Head (Padres #25 pick) did in the 2023 Draft. Thank you for this opportunity.

How did you find out about the eda?
Marcus Nettles recruited me to the program. I met him at the Whitesox’s Ace Showcase in Chicago a year ago.
WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
This Scholarship means the world to me. It will give me a platform that reaches everyone in the baseball world. The sponsorship will assist me in getting where I need to be with a knowledgeable yet giving organization.
Share a little bit about your background...
I am one of two children produced by my parents, and although they aren’t together, my father is at my mom’s house 5 Days a week. My sister, Skylar, a sophomore at UIC, and I are very close. My mom and dad are very loving parents and are very honest with me. My mom recently moved from Homewood to Flossmoor, IL, and I had to change schools, which was challenging, but I have adjusted and enjoy it now. With my height, I have suffered from Little League shoulder and arm, and I also deal with the growth plates in my legs, but I battle through it with therapy and am still playing the sport I love: baseball.
