I am Channing Cornelius Jr., a 16-year-old Sophomore at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, LA. I hold a 4.4 GPA and was recently inducted into the National Honors Society. I am the oldest of three children. In baseball, I am a right-handed OF/RHP.

WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
I am honored even to be considered for the scholarship. I feel the opportunity helps me further my dreams and continue working towards my baseball goals and career. It would help me with the exposure I otherwise wouldn’t get or have access to.

I don’t really have anything big that I’ve had to overcome. I work hard in school and on the field every day in order to be an example to my siblings and fulfill my dream.
