My name is Elijah Benton, I am 15 years old, I attended Thomas Jefferson high school in Florida, I am going into my sophomore year, I am a big gamer, I am a true student athlete, I am a hardworking, talented, humble, athlete, I play baseball, my primary position is outfield, I bat and throw from the right hand side

How did you find out about the eda?
My baseball coach, Spencer Nune,z and Derick del Rosal recruited me. I have known each of them for multiple years. They also recruited my older brother, Jamarques Benton

It means a lot because baseball is my whole identity and personality
Share a little bit about your background...
I come from a two parent household with two other siblings I am the middle child, I have always shared a room with my older brother, there was a time in my life specifically around 12u where I fell out of love for the game baseball, I basically quit for sum time mostly a mental thing and I sat down and thought and I came up with the decision to never in my life never let go of baseball ever again because I figured out without baseball I have no identity or just no life out of baseball

A professional baseball player
