How did you find out about the eda?
Coach Ron “RJ” Sensely introduced me to the EDA Combine. I’m not sure how he was introduced to the program, but I am very grateful that he recognized my talents and recommended that I participate.
WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
A scholarship to me means an acknowledgment and/or award for my natural abilities, hard work, and dedication to my craft. A scholarship allows me to focus on my academic and athletic responsibilities without my parents worrying about financial obligations.
Share a little bit about your background...
I have an older sister and a younger brother. My siblings and I have been blessed to have parents who support us without placing unrealistic expectations on us. The only thing our parents require of us is effort. Our dad allows us to decide our goals and asks us before every season if we are having fun, being good, or being great; this is the outcome we want. We understand that if we say we want to be great, we must be ready to outwork every day.
tell us one fun fact about yourself...
I am proud to be recognized as an All-American in football, baseball, and track. I have also been recognized as a Junior Olympian for my performance in track.
What career would you like to do?
A professional athlete.
