My name is Kory Jenkins, and I am 18 years old. I attend Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, NJ, and graduate in June 2024.
Kory will attend Rowan College of South Jersey - Cumberland in Fall 2024. Go Dukes!

How did you find out about the eda?
I learned about the EDA combine and program after attending the HBCU showcase in Atlanta. Shortly after the showcase, Coach Derek contacted me.
WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
The scholarship means a lot to me because without your help, guidance, and assistance, attending college and playing baseball would be difficult.
Share a little bit about your background...
I grew up with two older brothers and played many sports, but I fell in love with baseball. In June 2018, at the age of 12, my father passed away unexpectedly. He was my biggest supporter. It was extremely tough for me, especially at baseball games, when looking into center field and not seeing my number one supporter. That has been the biggest challenge, but I know my father is watching over me.

I love finding and listening to new music.
What career would you like to do?
I would love to play baseball professionally and inspire little kids never to give up.
